I really love Daring Sleuth  . prowess makes Bearer of Overwhelming Truths a fun and easy card to buff, and the clue generation on-hit gives the deck a fast tempo. I paired him up with a number of support cards in order to make for an exciting, bizarre combo deck. it's not great, since it doesn't have a lot of in-meta cards, but it's a lot of fun, and it's a solid combo considering it costs less than 50 bucks. hope you like it!

main combo

Thraben Inspector - puts a clue on the board, after that it's just a meat shield.

Daring Sleuth   - the deck's win con. the goal is to transform him into Bearer of Overwhelming Truths as quickly as possible, doing damage, getting him buffed, and increasing the deck's tempo with the clues he generates.

buffs

Distortion Strike, Artful Dodge - both of them trigger prowess for Bearer of Overwhelming Truths and allow him to generate clues. good synergy.

Silver-Inlaid Dagger - +3 damage for 3 mana, and procs prowess for only 1 mana

Accorder's Shield - makes your Bearers good defenders, procs prowess for free

Shu Yun, the Silent Tempest - his double strike proc can let you end the game with one swing, and the fact that he also has prowess gives the deck a more aggressive flavor. If you have no luck drawing a Daring Sleuth  , you can use Shu Yun to create a similar win condition.

support cards

Bygone Bishop - gets a clue on the board when you don't have any luck drawing Thraben Inspector; since it's a 2/3 flyer it also does a solid job defending against flying-heavy decks.

Rune Snag, Mana Leak - counterspells to build a tempo advantage, also procs prowess for Bearer of Overwhelming Truths.

Opt - lets you dig for Daring Sleuth   and cards that put clues on the board

Geist of the Archives - passively increases the deck's tempo while also helping to protect against aggro

I'm having a hard time building a sideboard for this deck. what kind of cards should I include? what counters do I especially need to look out for? if anyone could give me any tips, that'd be great!
