Almost all decks need mana. So the idea of cutting off your opponent's resources has been seen with both land destroy and land bounce. I've seen both mana-ramps for turn 2 sorcery land destroy or combos with Liquimetal Coating. But this usually divides your own mana and can make a shutout or finisher difficult.

Winter Orb and Mana Breach are extremely powerful cards but hurt you as much as they hurt your opponent... unless your deck doesn't need lands.

The downsides to this deck:

(1) you need to draw the combo or play it within a couple turns.

(2) you have to trust the Heart of the Cards and hope that your opening hand has a couple Mox Opals or a Lotus Bloom

(3) If your opponent has enough 1-mana drops in their deck to keep you busy, you might be in trouble.

(4) Once you empty out your hand, you'll probably be playing the rest of the game with either 1 of 2 cards in your hand.

Perhaps Blazing Shoal, Force of Will, Chrome Mox, or Paradise Mantle have a place here.
