Kiln Fiend would by a nice creature.
Would keep to 22 lands cause of the overload cost and flashback cost, those aren't mentioned in the mana-curve of tapped out.
Why is Thought Scour in the deck if u got only 5 flashback cards? I would replace it with Ponder
Kiln Fiend isn't standard, though that would be pretty sick. And I have Thought Scour cause Ponder will rotate out once Ravnica comes in. So with Thought Scour , even though I am unlikely to get a flashback card, I can use it after I look at the top card of my library from Delver of Secrets Flip in case I would like another card more. It also provides potential fuel for Past in Flames if I have that in my hand.
Ok, so I added Elgaud Shieldmate and Thundermaw Hellkite because I really felt I needed a few more creatures/protection. Also because of these changes I wanted more mana so I went back up to 24 and dropped the Past in Flames . Which was sad.Maybe I will be able to keep that in. We'll see.
which do you think is better, Elguad Shieldmate, Mask of Avacyn or Ring of Evos Isle? I'm Running a similar deck with Masks. http://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/gutter-burn/
Ohhh. Mask of Avacyn could be good. I think Ring of Evos Isle is the worst option cause you have to pay for the hexproof each time so you'd have to keep lots of mana open. And the counters won't matter much because you're not wanting to attack with talrand, you want to attack with the drakes or just do damage with Guttersnipe . Elgaud Shieldmate is good becasue it gives itself hexproof too, so they can't get rid of the source of hexproof, and if I do a one sided board-wipe with Mizzium Mortars or Cyclonic Rift then I have it to attack with also. The Mask of Avacyn would be better against board wipes against you though. And the 2 mana initial cost and 3 re-equip could be good. But I still think I prefer Elgaud Shieldmate
Too many cards. Get down to 60.
Still needs less lands. Your curve would work just fine with 22 or 21. You're literally just using up perfectly good spots in your deck with Basic land.
Bonfire of the Damned > Mizzium Mortars .
It's not a question of whether Bonfire of the Damned is greater than Mizzium Mortars . In fact, I think you'd be hard pressed to find someone who would say otherwise. But he's trying to make a budget deck, and Bonfire is pretty frickin' expensive right now.

Needs Desolate Lighthouse and Steam Vents . Go down to 21 lands. You'll be fine.
