Hey all! Here's my Niv-Mizzet EDH deck. Any suggestions would be very much appreciated!

  • Brainstorm: Just a really solid card. Lets you put cards like Temporal Mastery or Reforge the Soul on top of your deck for that miracle on top of letting you get a better hand. Doubles its draw potential with Al's Archive or Thought Reflection, and can be fed to the Al-Moil machine later in the game really cheaply.
  • Curse of Verbosity: In multiplayer, it tells people to leave you alone, and lets you draw more.
  • Ponder: Free card for one mana. And it let's you control your draws.
  • Preordain: Same as Ponder, but you scry this time.
  • Alhammarret's Archive: Very versatile card that lets you draw huge amounts of cards
  • Arcanis the Omnipotent: Tap for three cards is really good. Low on cards? Arcanis has you covered.
  • Arjun, the Shifting Flame: Play a spell and get a new hand. Lots of combo potential with Mizzet. Enough said.
  • Blue Sun's Zenith: Lets you draw cards. Better cards though, I'll probably change this at some point, but for now it can stay.
  • Chart a Course: 2 cost draw 2. I don't really mind discarding a card, but with Baral or Gobbomancer, it can cost 1. Cheap card for early game setup.
  • Commit: Removes opposing commanders and threats, and then turns into a Time Reversal with an extra 1 on its cost.
  • Consecrated Sphinx: Have this on the field, and you'll draw hate. This card is amazing in general, and broken in this deck.
  • Fact or Fiction: Not a draw card, but solid card advantage.
  • Faithless Looting: Draw 2, discard 2, with flashback. Cheap and easy to use.
  • Fateful Showdown: In late game, this is a huge amount of cards to draw. And a lot of damage.
  • Frantic Search: Draw 2, discard 2, for free, effectively. Can sometimes serve as a mana ritual.
  • Jace's Archivist: Super amazing card in this deck. Works really well with Al-Moil.
  • Jori En, Ruin Diver: Cheap to play, and you'll draw a bunch of cards off of it.
  • Mindmoil: AMAZING card in this deck. Works amazingly with Mizzet.
  • Pull from Tomorrow: Quick hand replenisher, and deals a lot of damage with Mizzet out.
  • Reforge the Soul: 2 cost wheel with miracle, or else a 5 cost wheel. Great card in this deck.
  • Rhystic Study: Blue staple. Amazing card. So much to love here.
  • Sensei's Divining Top: Bet you expected me to put this in the setup category? The tap to draw a card allows you to activate the Niv-Mizzet infinite with Curiosity/Lookout/Ophidian Eye really easily. It has won me a TON of games this way. And yeah, doubles up as the normal top usage of setting up your library.
  • Thought Reflection: Basically Al's Archive but as an enchantment.
  • Whirlpool Warrior: Free cards, and lots of cards cheaply.
  • Windfall: Easily one of the best cards with the deck (besides the infinites) in my opinion. Wheeling is super useful for drawing out your deck. Draws you huge amounts with Al-Moil.
  • Curiosity: Goes infinite with Niv-Mizzet (but can be halted because of the "may" clause). Flips your library into your hand whenever you draw a card if you enchant Mizzet.
  • Enter the Infinite: Flip your library into your hand. 'Nuff said.
  • Inner Fire + Comet Storm: Once you have your library in hand, the game is over. You cast Inner fire which gives you an insane amount of red mana, then cast comet storm for HUGE amounts of damage, killing all remaining opponents.
  • Mind Over Matter: Combos with Niv-Mizzet, and flips a bunch of cards into your hand and graveyard.
  • Psychosis Crawler: Really really solid card. Pings everyone at once. Really good at destroying opponents if you have Al-Moil out.
  • Ophidian Eye: Curiosity, but with flash.
  • Tandem Lookout: Curiosity but as a creature.
  • The Locust God: This guy is just really good. We're already drawing lots of cards, so he spawns a SWARM of locusts. Game over if not acted on quickly.
  • Archaeomancer: Need a spell back? No worries. Archie has you covered.
  • Baral, Chief of Compliance: Gives you cards for stopping your opponents, and reduces your spell cost which is super useful in spellslinging Mizzet's deck.
  • Darksteel Ingot: Decent mana rock.
  • Elixir of Immortality: 5 life (10 with Al's Archive) that is effectively a panic button if Al-Moil will deck you out and you can't fish out Lab Maniac.
  • Goblin Electromancer: Gobbomancer is nice, and like Baral, reduces your spell costs. Always appreciated. And he's cheap!
  • Izzet Signet: Good mana rock.
  • Laboratory Maniac: If Al-Moil doesn't kill opponents, Lab Maniac wins you the game.
  • Lightning Greaves: Mizzet protection. He's going to draw a LOT of hate when he enters play, and we want to protect him.
  • Mystic Retrieval: Instant/sorcery returning. Basically just Archaeomancer with flashback.
  • Mystical Tutor: Want an extra turn for 2 mana? A wheel for 2? Just tutor the card to the top of your library with this and pay its miracle cost. Also can tutor up other things. Super useful card.
  • Propaganda: Deters people from attacking you.
  • Sol Ring: I don't need an explanation for this one.
  • Swiftfoot Boots: See Lightning Grieves.
  • Temporal Mastery: Extra turn at a 2 cost when drawn. Otherwise, it's just a decent extra turn.
  • Temporal Trespass: This deck is a wheel deck, so you'll very likely have a ton of cards in your discard, and so this is effectively a three cost extra turn.
  • Thought Vessel: Very frequently, we'll have a hand over 7 cards. This helps you a bunch.
  • Blasphemous Act: Creatures are the main enemy of this deck. You'll never have any chump blockers, and in a not creature heavy deck, this card will have minimal impact on you, but can devastate creature-heavy decks for as little as 1 red mana.
  • Chaos Warp: Best removal in red in my opinion. No reason not to run it in every red deck.
  • Counterflux: Counterspell that can combat storm decks.
  • Counterspell: Blue staple, really solid card.
  • Cyclonic Rift: Again, blue staple.
  • Disallow: Solid card that counters triggered abilities too.
  • Dissipate: Exile an annoying card when you counter it!
  • Evacuation: Not a creature deck, so it doesn't hurt you. Can decimate token decks and creature-based decks.
  • Izzet Charm: Both a counterspell and a draw card. What's not to love?
  • Rewind: Counterspell that can act as a mana ritual if you have boiler works and temple of the false god out.
  • Vandalblast: Takes out mana rocks and pesky artifacts. Very good card.

Any suggestions?
