THIS DECK HAS BECOME LOCUST GOD I FELT NIV WAS TOO AGRESSIVE IN MY NEW PLAYGROUP FAREWELL OLD FRIEND.Do you like to draw? Do you like burn damage? Well this deck is the right deck for you, while im still updating it and adding and removing things as I go, this deck revolves around one central point, Draw cards, Deal damage, Draw cards, Win. I built this deck a while back as a "I hate my friends" competition between friends of mine, I've managed to kill 6 people at once with the Infinite combos.

Infinite Combos:

• (Niv-Mizzet, the Firemind + Curiosity and/or Tandem Lookout and/or Ophidian Eye)
• (Niv-Mizzet, the Firemind + Psychosis Crawler + any one of the above. This is in case one oponent is Hexproof or has Shroud.)
• (Niv-Mizzet, the Firemind + Sakashima the Impostor Copy Niv + again any of the above.)
• Rings of Brighthearth + Basalt Monolith Niv becomes really expensive late game especially if i get A LOT of hate so infinite mana makes his cost low... aswell as being able to combo out with Stroke of Genius or Blue Sun's Zenith when Niv or Psychosis Crawler are in play.

Win-cons

This is going to get a little repetitive.

• Niv-Mizzet, the Firemind + Ophidian Eye
• Niv-Mizzet, the Firemind + (One of the above) + Laboratory Maniac
• Laboratory Maniac + Entire deck draw using Stroke of Genius or Blue Sun's Zenith with Rings of Brighthearth + Basalt Monolith
• Psychosis Crawler + Draw enough to kill an opponent + Stroke of Genius or Blue Sun's Zenith with Rings of Brighthearth + Basalt Monolith

Random Stuff

• I usually Copy Gilded Lotus With Phyrexian Metamorph for that xtra ramp.
• I use Sakashima the Impostor and Phyrexian Metamorph in situations where I'd lose niv, or he'd get taken control of.
• Meishin, the Mind Cage, Dismiss into Dream, and Willbreaker are used to control my opponents a little bit.

Adds in question

• I'm thinking about adding Forgotten Creation and Fevered Visions To this deck not too sure about how well they'd work but they seem to synergize with the deck's theme.

Changes made

• Replaced Melek, Izzet Paragon With Jace, the Mind Sculptor Jace synergized with the deck a little more and Melek's abilities were situational.
• Replaced: Pyromancer's Goggles , Reverberate , Wild Ricochet , Inner Fire , and Starstorm With Crimson Wisps , Grip of Amnesia , Opt , Rings of Brighthearth , Basalt Monolith I barely use the copy Instant/Sorceries. so i dumped them.
• Replaced Opt for Dismiss into Dream Because: It could be a good removal for my enemies indestructible creatures or big creatures, and Sensei's Divining Top already does Opt's effect so don't need the redundancy.
• Replaced Crimson Wisps for Mind Over Matter To discard ulla and stuff
• Replaced: Izzet Guildgate, Shivan Reef, Steam Vents, Swiftwater Cliffs, Temple of the False God, Terramorphic Expanse, Vivid Creek With: Desolate Lighthouse, Halimar Depths, Opal Palace, Bloodstained Mire, Wooded Foothills, Arid Mesa, Misty Rainforest
• Replaced: Library of Leng with Izzet Keyrune I had 3 no max hand size cards... a bit overkill.
• Removed Keranos, God of Storms and Blue Sun's Zenith Keranos let my oponents know what I had in hand, and Blue sun's worked like stroke of genious, so redundancy not needed with graveyard spell fetch?
• Mercurial Chemister and Archaeomancer replaced with Meishin, the Mind Cage and Snapcaster Mage
• Trinket Mage Replaced with Mind's Eye Trinket Mage could only get my Top or Ring, didn't seem worth it to keep him.
• Concentrate for Commander's Sphere
• Firemind's Foresight for Invoke the Firemind
• Call to Mind for Insult / Injury
• Jace's Sanctum for The Locust God Because well ...duh?
