Early game the goal is to get the proliferation train rolling. Getting a +1/+1 on Grateful Apparition is ideal, but as log as at least one counter gets added early to take advantage of the proliferates. Ajani should support getting those counters out there. Nissa will provide defense in the form of the lands, as well as hopefully provide enough mana to 10+ cast finale of glory. Either way if you alt Nissa with at least one or two land elementals in play you should be golden.
