Ninja tribal shenanigans. Lots of little evasive creatures to sneak in ninjas and kill with Yuriko triggers. About 7/10 power level.

I have reassigned the mana value of every card to represent the optimal alternate casting cost so they are used to calculate the average CMC and represent a more accurate mana curve.

Special Mentions

Elder Deep-Fiend and Vexing Scuttler have some unique properties worth going over. Both will usually eat Yuriko for the Emerge reducing their costs to 4 mana. Both of their abilities are triggered on cast which means traditional counterspells will not counter the ability and Stifle effects will not counter the creature spell so these cards are semi immune to commonly played counterspells. Elder Deep Fiend can tap down attackers making it one of the very few defensive tools Yuriko decks have access to however it can also tap down blockers or tap down mana sources on a player's upkeep which usually Time Stops them.

Tolaria West is in here mostly to find Bojuka Bog as repeatable fog effects like Spore Frog prevent Yuriko from functioning. It has other good targets like Shizo, Death's Storehouse, Blinkmoth Nexus, and Ornithopter.

Dawn of the Dead has old wording which states to "exile the creature at end of turn" so having the reanimated creature leave play via ninjutsu or dying will prevent this. They later fixed this wording on almost every other similar card going forward to say "exile the creature at end of turn or if it would leave play" because of how strong the effect is.

Notable Exclusions

This deck is tuned to my meta and designed to play a longer less cut throat game without sacrificing what the deck wants to do. I've kept most stax and any "oops I win" cards like Doomsday and Insidious Dreams from the list because they do not feel appropriate for my meta. If you want to power this deck up then they are obviously powerful inclusions.

Hidden Synergies

Dawn of the Dead + Faerie Macabre/Key to the City/Dimir Infiltrator = Loopable effects and reanimator set up plays.

Submerge + Vexing Scuttler = Repeatable Yuriko flip of 8 CmC.
