Ninja vs Samurai - Samurai

Noble* Budget Mono-White Theme/Gimmick

EvenDryke

This is the second deck in my series of Noble* format decks.

The theme of this deck is Samurai.

Samurai are the strongest of warriors. Their honor is the pride of their lives, they fight their opponents face to face, relying only on their own inner strength. The Ninja fight with smoke and mirrors instead of strengthening themselves, and that is their greatest failure.

Face your opponent head on, and do not stop until you are victorious. That is how the Samurai will defeat the Ninja.

I made a lot of changes to this deck for balance. deck:samurai-vs-ninja-ninja tends to beat this deck far more often than I would like, just by infinitely bouncing samurai with Mistblade Shinobi and slowly dealing damage in the process. So I determined that this deck needs a more methods of removal, or locking down creatures.

Righteous Blow - snipes pesky ninja. Use to stop Mistblade Shinobi from infinitely bouncing.

Safe Passage - the ninja's abilities work when they deal combat damage, therefore, a well timed safe passage could really help the samurai.

Bonesplitter - ninja do not want to be blocked, and they want to attack as much as possible. I had way to many ways of buffing samurai's toughness while barely touching their power. Bonesplitter seeks to give this deck a bit more punch. Leonin Scimitar and BoNeSaW are both placeholders for two more Bonesplitter.

Arrest - locks down creatures like Soratami Mirror-Guard and Minamo Sightbender. Oblivion Ring and Journey to Nowhere are placeholders for two more Arrest.

Divine Favor - right now this is primarily a way of gaining life back. I want to replace this with a non-enchantment equipment. Enchantments don't help when the ninja can just bounce the enchanted creatures.
