Plan? There is no plan.

I just wanted to build another deck for my Thursday night games, and Gruul had the least cards represented in my other decks. I had a mono-Green Oathbreaker and a splash of wheels in my Mardu EDH deck, so I thought the pool of cards would yield a greater selection for a new deck.

I wish that I could have at least included Magus of the Wheel and Runehorn Hellkite ; but again, they are currently working for Oros, the Avenger .

I guess it would be nice to deal lethal combat damage with a combination of Xenagos, God of Revels and Kessig Wolf Run .

Also, from what I hear, people don't like mana-doublers; and since Nikya is a creature, she's much easier to remove from the field. So I thought it would be funny to have a Primal Surge in the deck. Hopefully, I'll get to trigger Purphoros, God of the Forge a few times.

Ooh. Now that I think about it, I might just knock myself out of the game. I mean, I don't actually have a win-con; but I could stumble upon enough creatures and drop Rhythm of the Wild to give them haste. However if I hit Guardian Project , I may just draw out (those triggers off Surge are not "may draw" triggers).
