This deck is based loosely around three themes.

• Paying Life

• Nightmares (demons being the primary source)

• Night/Mind/terror theme

Font of Agonies was what sparked this deck. I thought paying life was an interesting tech to build a deck around. I came across the legend Chainer, Dementia Master , did a few seconds of lore reading on MTGWiki, and thought what a perfect place to put all those demons I have lying around. I had one Dragon, for lore's sake, but ultimately he got cut. Another small mechanic is discard, hopefully my choice so I can have opponents discard creatures to bring back as Nightmares with Chainer. There's also a little life gain sprinkled in but could use some more.

For me, cards like Dauthi Embrace and Cover of Darkness are necessities in this deck to set the dark/terror theme. Splash in more flavor like Nightmare Lash , Blanket of Night , Darkest Hour . It used to run cards like Mind Slash , and Head Games which fit both the tech and the theme but ultimately got cut as well because they just didn't perform. My group plays fairly competitively under the guise of a casual group, so the deck still has to contend.

What I'm looking for in the area of suggestion are fun>competitive cards that fit more than one of the themes: art based around demons/nightmares/mind-terrors or just cool scary sh*t; cards about thoughts or sleep, or appropriate flavor text. Anything that fits the theme and the any of the mechanics. Like Drill Bit !
