This is my Bolas Mindslaver deck that I've been tuning for the last few months or so.

I want to be mechanically-thematic in using Bolas as the Commander, inspired by his long term plotting and manipaulation to utterly defeat his enemies in the most spectacular of fashion. This deck is a all about ego.

I heavily feature the "slaver" mechanics, both in taking control of turns (traditional Mindslaver) and stealing/playing cards directly from opponents decks.

I aim to make the game difficult for my opponents to deal with. Often they are faced with either making bad decisions or worse decisions. It helps to be patient and let my opponents build up and time a sudden reversal when they least expect it. Timely wraths, counters, or thievery is what makes this deck extremely fun to pilot.

Complaints: I've steadily worked on driving down the cmc of the deck. I joke with my friends that my cheapest spell starts at 7 mana lol. In reality it's much better than that with 11 pieces of ramp. But the haymakers don't start until late game.

The other part I've not been pleased with is it he disruption. Painful quandary is a great card for Nicol, but the last few specters could probably be removed. (Originally I had much more discard. It I've whittled most out.)

Overall though I love this deck. comments welcome.
