Never Doubt the Power of a Miracle

Modern* Competitive Control Theme/Gimmick WU (Azorius)

Chiberia

Sideboard

A Miracle is an act that is unexplainable by science or reason and must be an act of the divines. A miracle is what it was when Jace, the Mind Sculptor was unbanned and made this deck viable in Modern for the first time ever. For the first time, it is now a deck that it wouldn't take a miracle to work correctly and consistently.

The way this deck works is not necessarily unique, but interesting. To make this I used a control shell and integrated a few miracles as win conditions and board wipes, as well as some cards to make the deck more consistent.

Rivals of Ixalan is possibly the best set to ever come out for Miracles in Modern (after the Sensee's divining tops ban). It printed the widely played Search for azcanta and a card that I originally hadn't noticed Riverwise Augur. This card is a brainstorm on a stick and is PERFECT for setting up Miracles if we don't pull a Jace, the Mind Sculptor.

Updates Add

A small update to the deck.

Added: +2 Mission Briefing

Took out: -2 Snapcaster Mage

The reason for this is, snapcaster is nice and all, but surveil is another way to dig through the deck. The body on snappy isnt important whatsoever, so he was taken out in favor of mission briefing.
