This is my Nekusar Halloween themed deck. I wanted to use Nekusar because I think Grixis is the scariest color combination in magic, and Nekusar is a pretty freaky looking zombie. Also, what's scarier than getting punished for drawing cards.

This is a nightmare tribal deck. I feel like nightmares are something that can be associated with Halloween and being scary. The thing about nightmares in Magic, though, is that they either have pretty bad etb or ltb effects. The way to get around these two things is with Scroll of Fate and Sundial of the Infinite. Scroll of fate can manifest the nightmares from the hand so they don't trigger etbs, or Sundial can end the turn before the ltb effect takes place.

There's also a fun infinite turn combo with Scroll of Fate, Wormfang Manta, and Nightscape master. Wormfang says to skip your next turn when it comes into play, but if it's manifested out with Scroll of Fate, that doesn't trigger. Then you bring it back into your hand with Nightscape master to give yourself an extra turn, and do it all over again. There are also plenty of tutors in the deck to find these pieces.
