Maybeboard


This is my first shot on Neheb, the Worthy. As you see I want to support his discard theme in a aggro deck while I try to keep my opponents creature count down. Not sure if some reanimator stuff could make the deck more durable.

This deck is build only for multiplayer commander in a semi casual play group. you will not find a single tutor, not even an Expedition Map. I call it semi casual cause some of the cards are kind of non-budged, I think they push the power lvl a bit. Also I love to play very synergistic decks.
While looking at the deck list you can see, my main focus is not on a hughe minotaur army, most of my creatures try to support my commander - some him as a minotaur, some his discard theme. Even my other spells want him to hit as much as possible. Nevertheless this is the superior strategy most of my creatures are minotaurs, they support themselves and are supported by Neheb, a nice bonus.
The guild seems to be perfect, multible combat phases and double strike from red come along with the ability to control the opponents hands with black. On top we get some nice hellbent and madness cards.
pro:
  • annoys your friends

  • keeps beating your friends

  • enables long turns via extra combat phases

  • combination of aggro and discard kepps your opponents light on options while we keep beating them

  • minotaur tribal - pure style!

  • our other creatures are nice to have but we can work with our commander alone. Alot wipes? No problem, Neheb gets the job done alone too.

contra:

  • we have to connect to our foes, enemy creeps might become a issue

  • janky

  • obviously never played before, might attract some attention on the table

Every minotaur benefits of Nehebs ability to give them first strike and +2/+0 sometimes. The Whole deck tries to hit as often as possible with Neheb to trigger his discard multible times - which triggers some of my enchantments. I hope this will work...

I am excited what might come with Amonkhet but atm I am pretty happy how this deck looks. In the future I have to figure out wheather it needs more equipments, more possiblities to throw cards away or get them back. I thought on ways to double the damage like Wound Reflection, not sure at all...

Suggestions? Other thoughts? Please let me know what you would add/cut.
