These are my suggestions:

2 cost:

4 cost:

-1 Hero of Oxid RidgeMTG Card: Hero of Oxid Ridge

+1 Restoration AngelMTG Card: Restoration Angel

5+ cost:

-1 Urabrask the Hidden MTG Card: Urabrask the Hidden

-1 Avacyn, Angel of Hope MTG Card: Avacyn, Angel of Hope

+1 Acidic SlimeMTG Card: Acidic Slime

+1 Sigarda, Host of HeronsMTG Card: Sigarda, Host of Herons

Non-creature cards:

-2 Divine ReckoningMTG Card: Divine Reckoning

-2 Withstand DeathMTG Card: Withstand Death

-1 Brimstone VolleyMTG Card: Brimstone Volley

-1 Clifftop RetreatMTG Card: Clifftop Retreat

+2 Rampant GrowthMTG Card: Rampant Growth

+2 Oblivion RingMTG Card: Oblivion Ring

+1 Stronghold of Assassins (new AVR land)

+1 Kessig Wolf RunMTG Card: Kessig Wolf Run

Some of your creature choices are just kind of weak. I would suggest trying the replacements I suggested. It should make your beatdown much more consistent. And regarding your non-creature spells, you really don't want Divine Reckoning. This deck is gonna build a pretty scary board really fast, the last thing you want to do is clear your own stuff. Oblivion Ring is better since it can also hit Planeswalkers/Artifacts/Enchantments. Rampant Growth will help you jump up to your scarier creatures faster.

In case you haven't seen it yet, the new AVR land has "RW, T: Target creature gets +2/+0 and gains Vigilance and Haste until end of turn". It works very good with Birthing Pod, since you get pod the creature into play (for only 1 or 2 mana) then spend a couple more to give it haste AND vigilance.

Anyway, hope this helps. Good luck with your deck! You can check out my version here if you want: Naya Overrun.

As much as I love Strangleroot Geist, I think that 2of is a good card, and I'll add it to the board instead of Chandra's PhoenixMTG Card: Chandra's Phoenix. I'm going to run 2 Blade SplicerMTG Card: Blade Splicers, but I think I'll keep the Blisterstick ShamanMTG Card: Blisterstick Shaman, since he has a use or two in removing some small threats (i.e. one of their Birds of ParadiseMTG Card: Birds of Paradise), drop the Ulvenwald BearMTG Card: Ulvenwald Bear and one Silverblade PaladinMTG Card: Silverblade Paladin for them.

Urabrask the Hidden MTG Card: Urabrask the Hidden is a great card in this deck, but I completely agree about getting rid of Avacyn, Angel of Hope MTG Card: Avacyn, Angel of Hope . Regardless of how good she is, I now see she doesn't fit the theme of the deck.

For my 4 drops, I plan to drop both of the Heroes for 2 Phyrexian MetamorphMTG Card: Phyrexian Metamorphs. He's helped me in my B/G deck, Birthing Pod Done the Undying Way. I've won games copying their Sword of War and PeaceMTG Card: Sword of War and Peace (which they ran in a R/W deck) I see the synergy between Birthing PodMTG Card: Birthing Pod's low cost ability with Slayers' StrongholdMTG Card: Slayers' Stronghold. I'll run one of, and a Kessig Wolf RunMTG Card: Kessig Wolf Run doesn't hurt either.

Also, i completely agree about the noncreature spell changes. Also completely forgot about how much Mimic VatMTG Card: Mimic Vat works with Birthing PodMTG Card: Birthing Pod, So that goes in the sideboard

Yeah Blisterstick ShamanMTG Card: Blisterstick Shaman definitely seems like he could be useful still. And Mimic VatMTG Card: Mimic Vat is a great sideboard card for pod decks.
