Narset, Queen of Tomorrows

Commander / EDH Combo Storm Voltron

Nightdragon779

Every turn is your turn!

Oh, Narset EDH. Activate your inner asshole. This deck is for you if:

  • You like taking many long turns in a row, with 5 combat phases in each turn.

  • You hate when opponents can do things.

  • You like short games

  • You don't have a heart.NarsetOk, let's get started!

Ok, so a 6 mana 3/2 first strike hexproof that lets you cast spells for free. That's pretty crazy. First thing that comes to mind is a bunch high cmc spells and then voltron. And that's exactly what we're doing.enter image description here
Narset's ability provides you with many options. A lot of cards in this deck let you take extra turns, so a swing could give you up to 5 extra turns!

Highlight: Time Stretch - two extra turns for free is insane!

Your second choice which is almost like taking an extra turn is adding combat phases.

Highlight: World at War - once again, this has rebond and it happens twice, so good...

Then, there are the wild cards.

Wildfire/Armageddon - who needs lands after Narset is out? No one!

Insurrection - Broken, especially against aggro strategies like elves or Titania.

Of course, we have our favorite planeswalkers.

Karn Liberated - Opponents have and annoying hand? Reduce it! Opponents are playing things? Exile them! Playing a bad game? Restart it! With an advantage!

Ugin, the Spirit Dragon - Being able to ping as a + is already good, he also has a built in board wipe.

Jace, the Mind Sculptor - I'm mainly running him for the Brainstorm on a stick, which is really useful with Narset out.

Strionic Resonator activate her ability again!

Scroll Rack - Being able to put cards from your hand on top of your library is great.

Sensei's Divining Top - Same deal here.

Thassa, God of the Sea - Scrying every turn = amazing

Ok, so that was the first path, using her ability to cast useful spells.

Now, the second path: voltron!

Eldrazi Conscription - A jackpot from Narset's ability, this aura turns her into a monster.

Celestial Mantle - Hehehe

Flickerform - sometimes you have to dodge the boardwipes.

The swords - Cmon, they're the swords.

Moonsilver Spear - This deck has almost no creatures, so this is a nice engine, especially with all those extra combat phases.

Indestructibility - It's in its name.

Replenish - Reanimate all those enchantments!

Retether - Reanimate all those auras!

Open the Vaults - Reanimate all those enchantments and artifacts!

The tutors - of course.

Greater Auramancy - Yup.

So... How does this deck win? Well, one way is too commander damage them, which, is pretty reliable. But don't worry, I live for the combos.

Remember Omniscience + Show and Tell ? Ehehe... Basically, you want to Narset/Show and Tell into an Omniscience and then play Enter the Infinite. This will draw you your whole deck. Most people concede by this point, but for those who don't, you have a few options. In multiplayer, you cast Lightning Storm, discard all your lands, then Fork/Reverberate/Twincast it to each other player. Against one other person, you can just cast everything and then Grapeshot face.

Suggestions are always welcome, here's what I'm mainly looking for:

  • More Brainstorm/Scroll Rack effects. (Especially Scroll Rack, that card is insane.

  • Big game changing noncreature spells!

  • Large auras/equipments.

  • Anything you find that may be good in the deck.

Hope you enjoyed this deck! If so, please upvote!
