Hey guys, welcome to Rockin With Narset. I am excited to show you guys this deck because it's a perfect balance of fun, power and budget. Let me explain.

Narset is a commander that let's us exile cards and cast noncreature spells FOR FREE with her triggered combat ability. Narset presents a huge opportunity to exploit her ability to cast devastating spells that will warp the game around her. If you like playing commanders that are fun and cute and can battle out a game against opponents then this deck is not for you - instead, Narset has the ability to completely dominate the game while your friends sit around you doing absolutely nothing and watching you rip through your whole deck casting spells.

Spells in this deck can be characterized by a few different categories, each of which have a very direct and obvious benefit to the strategy:

First, we run a ton of mana rocks so that we can ramp up and cast Narset as quick as possible. The idea is for us to outpace opponents big creatures so that Narset can attack without any potential blocking threats that can interfere with her. In total the mana rock package in this deck accounts for about 20 spells, so you're almost guaranteed to have a way to cast her by about turn 4.

Second, the spells we abuse most in the deck are taking turns and taking combats. Narset has the ability to run the whole game by herself by exiling extra turns and extra combats then casting them for free and doing it all over again. Also, the longer she is able to go on with attacking and exiling the stronger she gets. This is because you're finding more mana rocks, more destroy and exile spells, things to copy her ability and other spells, and so on.

Next, we have a package of spells that allow us to protect Narset. These include enchantments and equipments that beef her up, make her unblockable, give her haste, allow us to make copies of her, and so on. The best thing about Narset other than her combat ability is her passive abilities which give her protection (hexproof) and first strike. Ideally, if we can make her unblockable, indestructible or beef her up to be huge, then there's no stopping her since she can't be targeted by opponents spells. She is a great commander to go voltron with and for this reason she can become literally and figuratively unstoppable in matchups.

Lastly, we have a package of spells that perform a variety of other, high utility functions. This can include board wipes, exiling creatures, sifting through the deck and casting more spells, searching the library, and removing the opponent's other permanents.

In general, every time we're attacking with Narset we're in effect either growing our resources or diminishing the opponent's resources. Because of this, if we can get her out and play on tempo then we can control the game and GO BIG

Anyway, thanks for taking a look at my deck - as mentioned it's super budget friendly for EDH so I hope this will spark some interest from the part of the community that doesn't have tons of money to ball out.
