Do you LOVE AMERICA? DO YOU HATE COMMIES!? Well, I've got good news for you, boyyyyyh. Narset is here to sayyy-ve the muthafuckin'dayiiieeeahhh.

Narset is the epitome of "Glass Cannon" strategy. She's huge, shes untouchable, and she takes over... except when she doesn't. At six mana she's by FAR the most expensive lady of the set. She comes with hexproof, however, which can't be over-stated. Not to mention that with every attack, you do stuff FOR FREE.

Now, she is also the only "non-creature" strategy of the table, so you have an advantage in that almost all your opponents' creature removal is 'wasted' as far as she's concerned. Second, she has tons of ways to tap down or turn off your opponents stuff, which is key to staying alive long enough to actually do things with her. Especially in this "budget" version of her, Narset is a late game stealer. If your opponents are silly enough to let her hang around, you are sitting pretty. However, aggressive opponents are going to make your life hard while you wait for the right mana and time to get her out and attacking.

Fundamentally, you're playing PURE control, so make sure you're actively shutting down the biggest (and "CORRECT") threats in the early game. Warning: you may need to politic. If the turn number is in double digits, watch as you yawn and shut down everyone else, take extra turns, and generally run away with the game. Don't get too comfortable though - stack your top deck with bombs using cheap cards like Brainstorm to maximize Narset's trigger.

Hold effects like Capsize and Eerie Interlude as long as you can. This deck, in particular, doesn't 'do' much without its commander in play. It may slow everyone down, but you're never going to win if Narset is stuck in the command zone at 15 CMC!

A last resort is to go token ramp with Kykar, but I don't recommend it!
