This is a Balance deck that attempts to rig things heavily in your favor via phasing shenanigans.

No extra turns or combat steps whatsoever. Goal is to play the long game, using Narset, Enlightened Master as a value engine to play interesting spells that I'm fond of.

$100 budget! Admittedly I could add in a good bit more when it comes to pricey cards, as Tappedout has a tendency to show prices improperly; for instance, Greater Gargadon became much cheaper with the recent Mystery Booster, and Teferi's Protection can go as low as $25 here.

So, basically, utilize Narset, Enlightened Master to cast spells like Worldpurge and proceed to out-value all your opponents with free casts. She does not need to be present on the board to cast spells exiled with her own effect, so if you exile Worldpurge, Form of the Dragon and Shark Typhoon, you can cast Worldpurge first and still have the freedom to cast everything else.

Other fun value plays generally revolve around Shark Typhoon and the suspend gang. Arc Blade and Vicious Shadows make for a sticky late-game value engine when everything else is gone, and paired with the army of sharks Shark Typhoon can provide, presents a lot of damage with little mana investment.

A lot of the deck's damage can come from tokens. Phasing doesn't cause tokens to die, making Teferi's Veil an excellent complimentary piece to Worldpurge, and of course, Restore Balance.

just came out of a game with some wonderful folks and some great data. more win-cons are definitely a solid option. Jhoira of the Ghitu ended up under-performing hard, and has been removed, as i'm unsure of how good Dust of Moments would be.

as for win-cons, Blatant Thievery works quite well with cards where opponents select what to keep, as they're likely to keep great targets for steals. only thing i'm worried about here is if the card itself is un-fun to play against. despite the build's ability to wipe lands & hands, it's designed for fun, and if others aren't having a good time, i've failed to build things properly.

Storm Herd is hilarious and fun. without any life-gain it's imperative to stay on the table's good side. i've been considering Heroes Remembered, though i'm more likely to include it if i decide to go further into the suspend route with cards like Jhoira's Timebug.

really solid game for testing. got to see how just about every card in the deck fared. Need for Speed ended up being incredible; i wanted to add it since the start but had no idea it was so cheap! a must-include for sure.
