Nahiri's Heroic Brutality

Oathbreaker RW (Boros)

A group of friends of mine who play Commander came with the ideia that we could try this new Oathbreaker format, but with the condition that our decks should not be cuttroath or so much oppresive.

After looking at my spare cards and finding that I was not very found of creating decks around Garruk Wildspeaker nor Gideon, Champion of Justice I found my Boros Charm and the idea hit me like a truck: I'd build a deck around the colors of my heart, of course, Red and White!

The idea of the theme came briefly, just after looking at some pauper lists to get inspired. So, I've built RW Heroic.

Greek heroic soldiers, backed up with cunning Kung Fu monks are here to fight by your side!

All creatures in the deck have heroic or prowess, so all the combat tricks in the deck will have additional effects like pumping the creatures even more or creating tokens!

Said combat tricks have rebound, flashback or can target two creatures, so we can squeeze a lot of value from them!

Our Oathbreaker Nahiri gives us an even better edge in combat, giving First Strike to the team. She can even kill some problematic creature!

If we can have an instant in the Command Zone... Why not three? Boros Charm is our signature spell, that may kill a player or opposing planeswalker with 4 damage, give Double Strike to a creature (triggerin heroic, super on theme) or saving the team from a wipe or even targeted kill.

But why Nahiri, Storm of Stone?
Answer: Because she's cheap

Updates Add

Out: Mage-Ring Bully, solid but sometimes you just need a blocker
Vanguard of Brimaz and Tethmos High Priest, never happy to draw these guys
Lotus-Eye Mystics a little too much clunky

In:
Monastery Swiftspear, just sweet
Kiln Fiend, has like a super-prowess.
Feather, the Redeemed, hopefully will make these buffs work better Zada, Hedron Grinder same as Feather, maybe a litte nombo as it won't trigger Heroic, but worth testing!
