My builds go through continuous change and upgrades with each new set and it is a big effort to keep track of all changes across all my decks.

Motivation - Comments about my Commander and Meta

As far as deck-building goes I am told this was my Everest. Building a competent deck while under the Zirda, the Dawnwaker's companion restriction was a massive challenge. I was also trying to include as many Nahiri based cards in the deck as reasonably allowable to tell her story.

With the heavy artifact focus, Breya, Etherium Shaper became the commander of choice. One thing I learned really quickly about Breya is that she LOOOVES to go infinite. You so much as look at her funny and she'll go infinite. I enjoyed reading Kai-Erik's Breya, Ghost in the Shell OVER 65 INFINITE COMBOS which has many infinite combos. I bet he could double that by adding Zirda, the Dawnwaker into the 99. I was also really impressed by Coumie's [cEDH Primer] Breya the Malevolent which shows how Breya can be pushed to the next level of competitive play. Looking at both for inspiration and testing them out, I soon found that Breya is just too darn powerful! At least for my local meta. Any time you get infinite coloured mana, you instantly win which got really boring when my opponents could do nothing to stall it. So I scaled it back.

As such, there are no infinite coloured mana combos in this deck. I only allow infinite colourless mana.

This deck turned out to be a Nahiri Vorthos deck with lots of equipment spells, cycling spells, and blink etb thopter generators. The allows me to remove all generic costs from spells, cycle for free, and cast and equip weapons for free which is plenty powerful but not instant death. I think the only instant death combo in the deck is to pump into Xantcha, Sleeper Agent.
