Myrves of Steel (Budget Relentless Aggro)

Modern Artifact Budget Casual Tribal Weenie

Sideboard

Fast. Strong. Unrelenting. The Myr have come!

This is a budget tempered steel tribal with myr... my favorite tribe. I wanted to shine the light on some of the myr who don't get to bask in the sunlight. This deck runs low to the ground, and tries to go wide from the start. The beautiful thing about this deck is that it can afford early trades: As you can see, there are plentiful ways to repair your automated onslought and continue. A quick rundown of some of the key cards:

Myr Servitor: The card that got me thinking. Try to get as many as you can out, and watch as you can chump block for eternity.

Myr Retriever: This works similar to myr servitor, but with the plus of going to fish any of your artifacts out of the Grave. The downside comes in that it is not 1 cmc- so it can't be tutored or recurred by Proclamation of Rebirth.

Myr Mindservant: Rounds out our myr just cause. :P I mean, c'mon, look at him!

Myr Reservoir: This can create some very, very annoying and funny board states with the first 8 myr. We want 2, as more in our hand won't be a good thing.

Memnite + Signal Pest + Thoughtcast : The affinity all stars, need I say more? To cut even more money off, Memnite can be replaced with Ornithopter.

Tempered Steel: We need to make our myr BIG. What better way? I may take one copy out for something else, but it is a 4 of for now.

Genesis Chamber: With all these myr bouncing around, we can make even more! Our servitors will be coming back every turn, and we need to take advantage of that. This is one of the most expensive cards, but well worth the inclusion.

Springleaf Drum: As we are not working on the most... ummmm... expensive of landbases, the drum will help fix and add mana when we may come a little shorthanded.

Trinket Mage: Our tutor. Go get what you need, be it Myr Servitor, Signal Pest, or Springleaf Drum.

Dispatch: while we are running a fair bit of artifacts, metalcraft isn't guaranteed, so use wisely. Don't underestimate the power of tapping to get in for some extra points of damage.

Buried Ruin: Reduse, Reuse, Recycle.

Proclamation of Rebirth: The sprinkles on the icing when it comes to recursion. We are going to be utilizing that scrapyard like there's no tomorrow, baby!

There you have it! This deck is fun, cheap, and really quirky. I personally love it. I picture the Myr just rebuilding themselves time and time again to continue fighting, and it's awesome. Upvote, Comment, Share, Don't hesitate! Thanks for stopping by!
