So this is my take on mono white soldier deck. Doing this on a budget so any suggestion will be appreciated :)
So this deck works as a aggro/tempo deck. Main aim is to put as many cheap creatures as you can that synergizes with each other. Your turn one creature can turn into a 5/5 in turn three and so much more. We do not rely on counterspells. We just race the enemy with what we have :D
CREATURE
1 DROP
Champion of the Parish - all of my creatures are human except but one so this works well specially if you can drop it at turn 1
Boros Elite
- another 1 mana creature. good for enabling Champion of the Parish and Thalia's Lieutenant and activating its ability is not that hard because of the tokens and low mana curve of the deck
2 DROP
Elite Inquisitor
- a stable 2 drop. has protection, vigilance and first strike.
Thalia's Lieutenant - a card similar to Champion of the Parish but also helps other human when entering the field. so if somehow you draw to this midgame it won't be that too bad
3 DROP
Field Marshal
- since this is a soldier deck this card will greatly help the creatures you have in the field giving them a +1/+1. this works well if you have tons of creatures and tokens in the field.
Preeminent Captain
- the only non human soldier in the deck. but its too good to let it pass. its skill can let you win games. maybe in turn four you can already drop a Captain of the Watch giving your soldier a +1/+1 and vigilance and at same time creating 3 token soldier which are getting benefits also from Captain of the Watch and
Field Marshal
6 DROP
Captain of the Watch - this can be cheated by
Preeminent Captain
and if you do in turn 4. it will very bad for your opponent having a turn 1 Champion of the Parish turn 2 2x
Boros Elite
, turn 3
Preeminent Captain
. andat turn 4 a
Field Marshal
+ a Brave the Elements waiting to be used. you'll have a 5/5 Champion of the Parish 2x 3/3
Boros Elite
and attacking with this you'll activate its ability making it 5/5 then a 4/4
Preeminent Captain
, 4/4 Captain of the Watch and lastly use Brave the Elements to let your creatures push through. This i think is the best scenario, when all things planned do happen. but lets be real things planned rarely happen :)
OTHER CARDS
1CMC
Brave the Elements - a must card when playing mono white, specially when you have an aggro deck. This lets your creatures bypass enemy defender letting you swing them all to the opponent's face!
2CMC
Raise the Alarm - a good instant spell. this gets you 2 soldier token which benefits from your other cards.
Honor of the Pure
- it pumps up all your creatures and tokens. a good option when you cant drop any creature. a best scenario is you'll have 5/5 tokens :) but i think the game wont get that far to let you play all the four cards.
4CMC
Elspeth, Knight-Errant - i think this suits better in this deck rather. all its abilities complements the cards and its a 4 drop so its not that costly and can be used immediately. I only took 1 copy because getting them might be too many and limit my other options. And also because it only acts as a complement. And also we dont solely rely on it for winning the game
