My girlfriend wants to Magic and I need help. (Modern MTG Deck)

This is my girlfriend's deck. I think her aim for it is to make her opponents discard their hand and lose life for it while being millied to power up her creatures. I think she has more going on, but it doesn't seem to do her any good.

I've found some cards which I have given to her up through the year and I want to see if the current pile of cards can make a decent deck.

The cards in the mainboard are the cards she is currently using and the sideboard are all the extra cards she has available that may suit this deck. I need some help in ridding the pile of useless cards, make a decent deck and a useful sideboard.

I don't mind suggestions for must-have cards not in these lists, but my main focus is utilizing what we already have, if it is enough.
