A struggling zoo. I was just putting things together at first, but then I started to study other people's zoo decks. This deck is built based on cards I own.

This all began with Burning-Tree Emissary . I've found the card useful through all my changes. She stays, obviously. She's my best combo: Burning-Tree Emissary + Myr Superion . I love it when these two cards and the appropriate mana is in my first hand.

Monastery Swiftspear, Gladecover Scout , and Impetuous Sunchaser are my small creatures that get pumped while I wait for Myr Superion.

Beastcaller Savant brings out my one-drop creatures and leaves my mana open. I suspect it will be a target. It's more difficult to use Beastcaller to bring out Myr Superion, but I try.

Rubblebelt Maaka and Ghor-Clan Rampager are for the bloodrush ability, so they're pump cards.

Lightning Bolt is a handy burn spell, and Magma Jet lets me scry for two, an important feature that lets me search for that combo.

Titan's Strength lets me scry, and Temple of Abandon is my other scrying card.

Become Immense plays well in this deck, especially when I use it with Impetuous Sunchaser .

Beyond that, it's about learning how to play this deck. Yeah, it comes out swinging, but I've learned little tricks. On T3 or T4, for example, if I play a Titan's Strength on a Monastery Swiftspear, it's typically going to get chump-blocked by some 1/1 creature, so it's nice to have a Ghor-Clan Rampager in hand. Or I zap a creature with Lightning Bolt and force my opponent to block with a creature he didn't want to use.

It's tempting to play a bunch of cards and pump a creature and go for a huge swing, but it makes more sense to pump with one, swing, and see what happens. (Because if it goes through unanswered, I can still play another Instant pump card). My burn cards do a pretty good job of keeping me in the game longer than expected.

I'm liking the build. It's fast, it's powerful, and relatively sleek. I just need to keep working on the side board.
