Because the deck is also balanced properly with the right amount of each thing in it to win turn 4-5 without any gimics. Thats called a mana curve and good balanced deck building. You only ever really need 1 of them on field for B.Act to win. Stuffys are expensive and much less useful than reckoner but indestructible so they tend to stick around and are awsome against decks with out slip type or terminus.
Time and again so many players get caught up in running more of something because they think if it isnt a 4x they wont see it. A good deck in aggro is built first with a proper balanced mana curve and then cuts are made to the tone of adding in another great win con that dosnt disturb its synergy and makes it more threatning causing your opponent distress and forcing hastey decissions. Any deck can be altered to more suit your style but as long as its on curve and not handicapping its early or mid range. I like Frontline medic for its ability to snub sphinx revelation and for its battalion effect indestructible and am not willing to run more than 5 three drops in that creature slot so 4x reckoner means 1x frontline and id rather go 2x frontline and 3x reckoner there is balance there of what I want out of this slot. Good decks arent made by going...This cards good 4x this cards good 4x.....Its about synergy and curve and inteligent play, also planning and understanding other deck machanics. Thats almost as important as knowing your own deck.
I'm curious about what decks the stream readers would match up with against this deck. Post some deck challenge canidates for me to analize.
In response blasphemous act would kill you in every match up. You'd take early creature dam from vexing devil, ash zealot and charm searing spear or brimstone then id let you grow and blasphemous act for 13 to you off reckoner or stuffy. My deck loves a swarm think about it. It really has no chance of ever even winning a single game.
Yes creature kill would kill an undying recursion deck..... you wouldn't kill yourself at all with Blood Artist and Diregraf Captain triggers. I wouldn't get anything back with Undying Evil , Ghoulcaller's Chant , Mikaeus, the Unhallowed undying buffs or Grimgrin, Corpse-Born
I sooo wouldn't Bone Splinters your Reckoner or have any answers at all
Well if blasphemous act deals you leathal there isnt triggers to tabulate the game just ends and I dont think anything short of B/R zombies is aggressive enough in the zombie format to kill me before indestructable stuffy get you.
I am torn over whether to replace faiths sheild with O ring instead they can both do good things but id be trading out pillar for it so adding more 3 drops and changing my curve..but O Ring seems to solve alot of probs. What do you think?
I am looking for serious input on comment no.10 from any seasoned Boros players.

You have way too little land to try to play 5 drops, let alone 4 drops, consistently. Needs to be upped to at least 22 (but I'd go 23 for consistency). Stuffy Doll is too slow in standard currently - the soonest you could combo with act + doll is turn 6. I would up reckoner to 4, remove 2 dolls, remove the pilgrims, remove vexing devil because it's bad (you want creatures to hang around so you can cast act sooner, and it's just a bad card in standard period) and replace them with either cacklers or Knight of Glory, add at least 1 hellkite for reach and consider a few boros gates or possibly caverns.
summary:-2 Nearheath pilgrim+2 lands-4 Vexing Devil+4 cacklers/knight of glory-2 stuffy doll+1 boros reckoner+1 thundermaw hellkite
Even with these changes I'm not sure if you can hang with Naya Blitz, Reanimator, Jund/Rug Midrange, or any of the other top tier decks.

played a super IQ 7 Rd Tourney with this deck and made 1 stupid mistake that cost me 5-2 and ended 4-3 instead still I never had a problem drawing land nor have I at 6 FNMs I played this deck at. Its consistantly beat naya mid, Naya blitz , RDW ,B/R Zombies and humanimator and R/W/U Control. I dissagree with you creature acessment on vexing and pilgrims as the are combo triggers in my deck and kinda agree with what was said about stuffy. He isnt as helpful as I thought. I was having a problem with Jund mid with indestructibles and was looking to put in a roadblock. It problably is going back to thundermaw or firemane avenger or zealous conscripts.
Added 1 plains 9 white sources, Everything that needs white has a max requirement of 1 White mana symbol so I didnt think with 2 playsets of duel lands that I needed any plains but I will give it a shot. Hope I dont open with 1 plain 1 mountain 1 slayers or 1 Slayers 1 plain too often. That was my real fear.
I had real issues often when I used to run 2x hellion crucible, slayers has been all positive so far.
Hope these changes help, I'm still thinking I might run Oblivion ring side in faiths Shields place. Also I am considering Odric master tactition in place of blind obedience. Feedback is appreciated.
So close to finish making this deck >.> just need the mana and more of the higher priced cards. You answered this question before but when standard um rotates what cards are you going to put in to replace the cards that can't be used no more to keep the synergy and competitiveness of this deck? Also is there any other way I can contact you for more info I would really appreciate it.
Ive decided to drop faiths shield as lavenia the tenth 4/4 protection from red will be so troublesome. Oblivion Ring is now an automatic reguardless of cmc and design.
I'm going to run reverberate for a week FNM and if it dosnt perform faiths shield will return in its slot.
I'd suggest dropping the Pillar of Flame s and adding another Searing Spear or 2x Oblivion Ring . I like your creature choices except for Vexing Devil , while I do like this card a lot more than others its never what you want or need it to be. Yes its cheap damage but situationally your opponent gets to decide how they want to deal with him which mean early game they'll most likely take the 4 damage but then you have to sac a 4/3 you just played when it'd be more advantageous to have out a 4/3 and then late game when you will probly want direct damage because theyve had a chance to build up their board and he will be allowed to stay, more times than not just as a chump blocker. More Boros Charm , Searing Spear , Aurelia's Fury , Oblivion Ring and even Bonfire of the Damned would give you more control of the game and just more options. Hope I could help :)

FNM Top 8 Finisher 2 months running used to be called MY Boros Wins and was ranked 18 on tapped out. Somebody logged on my account with the memorized password at the shop and erased it. This deck has proven leathal at FNM and Super IQ. Enjoy!
