As a lifelong fan of Godzilla and other kaiju, I fell completely in love with Ikoria. This is the deck I've built to try to make the most of the mutate mechanic and field the most amazing looking creatures! Though some of the choices may seem weird, I find them to be fun. Like the Nephilim: they're insta-cast with the commander out, which I rather like. And then mutating on top of them is lovely.

This is my first deck listed here, though I have built a dozen other commander decks. The others I based on other builds, but this one I built on my own. It's done pretty well at our friendly game nights: I'm not a competitive player. Feedback would still be appreciated, though! Thanks!

UPDATE:

After playing it a few more times, I hit upon some inspiration. Mutate is basically Bestow + Contraption, in an odd sort of way, and the mutated cards count as one, large card. Adding the Helm of the Host gives an efficient way to make mutate copies, same as Altered Ego. Furthermore, I thought it might be time to cheese out Jegantha's tap ability: the Bringers and Maelstrom Archangel are effectively free to cast with the commander out, and their cards are great to mutate off of. The Drannith Magistrate still feels kind of like an odd-man-out since I can't mutate him, but he is such a great bit of control.
