@ghoulofmetal: Say that to the Scalding Tarns will you?

I'm in favor of a Nivix Cyclops/Wee Dragonauts package. I would say stormchaser is more of a tempo card then aggro. Also I would run the full set of m growth.

@blashemale I know it's not exactly the same but replace them with Flooded Strand x 3 its like $60 opposed to $300.
Also, I don't like simian spirit guide that much, I think 2 Goblin Electromancer would be stronger. 3 Gitaxian Probe, and 2 Serum Vision.

Slip Through Space is a nice compliment to Distortion Strike while providing a card draw.

ghoulofmetal, my wallet hates me after I got all of the lands.. besides that and the Snapcaster Mage this was easy to obtain :)
Minelia5, thanks!
Monsmtg, I did originally have Nivix Cyclops in here but then Stormchaser Mage came out and took up that spot. A 1/3 pumpable flyer with haste that I can drop on turn 1 is just better and is/can be a very aggro card
LTmiller, Simian Spirit Guide is perfect for this deck. It can allow me to drop my 2cmc creatures on turn 1 and/or help me just beat down even faster. To each their own though ;)
ragemaster42, Slip Through Space looks like it may fit perfectly in this deck. I will definitely have to do some play testing with it, thanks!!
zachknight123, bolt is amazing and does seemingly fit in here.. it's just never the card I need when I draw it in this deck. I need to protect, pump or evade and that just doesn't allow much time for removal or even just straight up cheap burn. It is the one card that I do keep putting in here and eventually keep taking back out

Panda213, yeah I see where you're coming from. However I personally believe that a turn one land into Gitaxian Probe or Serum Visions (Monastery Swiftspear is better) is fair, turn two Goblin Electromancer with a turn three Stormchaser Mage into Manamorphose for one making 2, into another one into Apostle's Blessing or Mutagenic Growth. I think I'm personally looking at it a bit more for the 3-4 win. I'm not saying by all means cut the 4. I'm saying 2 and 2.

LTmiller, maybe if I were running more spells that called for generic mana but right now the deck has Manamorphose, Apostle's Blessing and the overload cost of Mizzium Skin that would benefit from Goblin Electromancer and each of those I am running only as a 1 of. I seem to always be tinkering with this though and another Serum Visions would be nice. I think I should also round out the Mutagenic Growth and Titan's Strength to each be a playset and could possibly remove the Snapcaster Mage to make a little more room..

Panda213 I think that the Snapcaster Mage is good, it's basically a fifth Gitaxian Probe, an extra Mutagenic Growth or even an extra Serum Visions. He just seems to good. Mutagenic Growth x 4 seems very good. Titan's Strength x 3 looks to be fine to me. A one of or two of Fling would be very saucy.

ghoulofmetal Mate, if you do without the Snapcaster Mage and the Scalding Tarns, it's really not that bad.

Nice! I like the turn one kill. Have you ever gotten it off? It doesn't seem that impossible.
January 27, 2016 8:05 p.m.
rocklobsterfinn, I've never pulled it off but have come close.. would be nice to someday though. Thanks!

Izzet Charm seems like it might be worth a look in the sideboard -- it's at least more flexible than a bolt and might be able to blunt threats without giving up card draw. Sweet deck though.

Have you considered Noxious Revival? It would let you sacrifice some extra life for an extra prowess trigger, and maybe even returning Mutagenic Growth for another +3/+3, to do some serious damage early on

Scouty I have actually and it played well in here, it just didn't make the final cut. I still might try to make room for one and/or possibly a Dismember

Oblivion I took him out to add Nivix Cyclops. The Cyclops curves out better and isn't bolt bait while still giving me the +3 on the attack.

For these kind of decks, I always say splash black and add Tainted Strike, because it's essentially deal 11 dmg to face for 1 black. (11 dmg only if they're at 20 life)
February 27, 2016 2:39 p.m.
Nightdragon779, interesting.. seems like a great way to piss people off :)
I've wanted to splash white for things like Path to Exile and Monastery Mentor but I just can't afford the mana base
February 27, 2016 3:40 p.m.
Once again, a one of Fling would be hilarious...
Oh, you're tapped out? Okay, drops hand onto the table minus one card turns Stormchaser Mage sideways Swing 12. Can't block can you mister zoo? shows the opponent Fling with two open mana GG? cracks huge grin

I suggest Kiln Fiend and Invisible Stalker. They are super great. You don't need that one of snappy imo. Run Might of Old Krosa and Mutagenic Growth and Vines of Vastwood, they all are great.

Whoever said magic was an expensive hobby has never seen this deck.
