Suggestions are welcome! the deck is still a WIP.
Wile I don't like creating decks that try and combo off on turn 3/4, that doesn't mean that I don't have to play against them.
The best way to counter a combo deck is to... well Counterspell, The problem is the typical Counterspell control deck doesn't fair too well in multiplayer EDH. The goal of the deck is to change that.
Seedborn Muse+Thrasios, Triton Hero. tutoring Seedborn Muse early is a focus with the deck. Make every turn also your turn by controlling the game or using Thrasios, Triton Hero's ability.
Untap lands. Sword of Feast and Famine, Bear Umbra, Nature's Will, or Seedborn Muse.
Control. with the untapped lands Control the game with Counterspells and removal. If nothing is worth controlling on that turn use Thrasios, Triton Hero's ability to draw cards or ramp.
Make them quit:
Have Vorinclex, Voice of Hunger, Mirari's Wake, or Training Grounds + Seedborn Muse and Thrasios, Triton Hero. Continue to draw and control on every turn, your opponents will see their inevitable demise and scoop.
Combo:
Palinchron + Phantasmal Image=mana
Palinchron + Vorinclex, Voice of Hunger or Mirari's Wake=mana
Once you have mana use Thrasios, Triton Hero to draw until you find Eternal Witness, Sakashima the Impostor, and Time Warp and take turns.
