Originally I built this as a token deck that planned to use the Eldrazi Scions for mana, life gain/loss, and card advantage. I use to run all the Eldrazi token creators, but this made the deck insanely slow and didn't win until somewhere around turn 12 or later. I moved states and ended up going to a card shop with some pretty competitive builds. I was tired of losing but still wanted to stick with the general theme. I have recently been tweaking the theme of the deck to be more about the Gatewatch fighting the Eldrazi. Functionally it seems to meld well with what I had built the deck to do previously. It just relies on Planeswalkers in places I was using artifacts to mill or draw cards in the late game.

This is still very much a work in progress and I know this will never be top tier because of the theme, but I did want to see how competitive I could make it all the same. All notable combos/win conditions are listed below.

Infinite Tokens/Mana:

Spawnsire of Ulamog + Doubling Season + Ashnod's Altar

Nim Deathmantle + Ashnod's Altar + any creature that creates at least two tokens

Infinite Life Loss:

Nim Deathmantle + Dominator Drone + Ashnod's Altar + Sifter of Skulls

Nim Deathmantle + Blood Artist/Zulaport Cutthroat + Ashnod's Altar + any creature that creates at least one token

Spawnsire of Ulamog + Doubling Season + Ashnod's Altar + Blood Artist
