Ok so everyone is playing Golgari Midrange. I've taken things out for a spin, and came back with a version of my own. I'll explain some of the cards. Karn, Scion of Urza is a much better card, on its face, than Vraska, Golgari Queen. While Vraska draws for you, she does so at a cost, and I don't think this version of the deck has many items it wants to willingly sacrifice often. Llanowar Elves would be the only thing late game. I even question having those elves around at this point too. Carnage Tyrant is powerful. This is a way, way, way, better closer than Doom Whisperer and is highly immune to many removal spells thanks to hexproof. Vivien Reid main deck is a mandatory thing. You're gonna face tons of fliers that need to die, and to boot the mirror match is always inevitable. So bring her to the party, and do some serious damage. I've added Vraska's Contempt in a two batch to the main deck b/c it's seriously necessary with Rekindling Phoenix out there and sticky creatures that creep back from the graveyard. Dimir is a tough opponent for this deck, as is Esper at times. On to the sideboard. Duress is for control. The rest is just more removal if you need it, and in certain situations you will. Tocatli Honor Guard is a highly, highly, URGENT threat. Your other Assassin's Trophy handles that need and more. You'll see the occasional Cleansing Nova hit you, but that's ok bc the recursion in this deck will set you right. The mirror match is realistically a tough one; but again, Carnage Tyrant will usually be the right answer. Also the Phyrexian Scriptures will win you the mirror match. Put in more control spells to answer the mirror, and you'll do ok.

EDIT 1: Ok, so I've had some time to playtest, and went 10 wins 2 losses this week with it. I've changed the sideboard to be more effective against token decks, and decks with aggro. I've also updated the deck to include mainboard 4 Vraska's Contempt b/c hate cards are essential to winning. Vivien Reid helps out with card draw, as does explore mechanics. Karn, Scion of Urza belongs in the deck in certain situations. Against more control decks he's handy, and boarding out something for him probably is ok. I've got my mind on his placement. He is decent though. Ritual of Soot for Selsenya and Red Aggro decks.
