Hello, and welcome to my Muck Tide deck tech!This deck is a competitive storm deck for legacy and is also super fun to boot.
Let's talk about my Picks: Bubbling Muck and High Tide:These two double mana until EOT, and because all of your lands are either Both Swamps and Islands or lands that fetch for swamp islands, it doubles ALL your mana.Dark Ritual and Cabal Rtual: very well known, played in storm, good cards.Time Spiral: Probably the best card in this deck, it lets you refuel AND untap all of your lands.Meditate, Ponder, Brainstorm, and Flow of Ideas:These are your card draw (not including time spiral). Meditate's drawback is fine, ponder and brainstorm is fine, and flow of ideas draws a card for each land you control (you get up to 6 mana a lot faster than you think).Snappy: Can snapback a Tide, Muck, or Tendrils. Just all-around versatile.Tendrils of Agony: Our wincon.
Lands: 12 Fetches that fetch blue or black, can be any of them, the ones listed here are the cheapest4 Underground Seas4 Watery Grave4 Fetid PoolsIf you want to play the battle land instead, underground sea is too good and fetid pools can cycle, so watery grave is your cut.
Gameplay: A good rule is if you will be dead next turn, try to go off. If against burn, if you will be at 5 or less, try to go off, unless you don't have card-draw. Never play meditate unless going off. Play as many cards in your hand as possible, THEN Time Spiral.
Sideboard: Doom blades and Victim of Nights are against Eidolons and Ethersworn Canonist. These two screw us over (although I have won under an Eidolon). Nature's Claim is for rule of law, arcane Laboratory, etc. Trop is to make them playable.Leyline is for, unsurprisingly, dredge.
