The Deck

This is my cheat and steal Braids, Conjurer Adept deck where the theme is to cheat out high impact fatties or steal/clone goodies that my opponents cheat out with Braids and sit back on permissions to ride them to victory. I gotta admit that this deck can be pretty nasty to play against. You either die a hero, or live to see yourself become the villain right? The deck can technically function without Braids as I run a couple of ramp and nykthos effects to supplement my deck strategy. The most important thing about piloting this deck is the timing of playing Braids and the politics surrounding her. Playing Braids at the wrong time can result in debilitating scenarios that can be difficult to come back from. Most people will usually scoop once they feel like I'm way ahead of the game.

Synergies

There are many neat synergies in the deck that can out-value my opponents to victory if left unchecked:

• Cryptic Command + Mystic Sanctuary = Rebuy cryptic every round.
• Tidespout Tyrant/Galecaster Colossus + Gilded Drake = Steal an opponent's creature and bounce drake back to hand. Repeat ad nauseaum.
• Braids, Conjurer Adept + Capsize/Sakashima the Impostor + Agent of Treachery = Return Sakashima or capsize agent at opponent's EOT and drop it back down with Braids to steal another permanent. Rinse and repeat.
• Braids, Conjurer Adept + Sakashima the Impostor = Gets double Braids trigger.
• Thespian's Stage copying Lotus Field = Super ramp.

Win Conditions

Most games are won off the immense advantage generated by Braids to overpower my opponents without even needing to assemble any of the win conditions below. Another goal is to also start stealing everything my opponents cast with Guile in play and Cryptic Command + Mystic Sanctuary lock. Platinum Angel is the best insurance policy in the deck to ensure that cards like Jin-Gitaxias, Core Augur doesn't draw me to death and lets me demonstrate the infinite turns combo without a hitch:

• Blightsteel Colossus = Infect damage.
• Tidespout Tyrant/Capsize + Time Warp + Mystic Sanctuary = Infinite turns.
• Tidespout Tyrant + Mana Crypt + any 2cmc or less mana rock = Infinite mana.
• Guile + any counterspells = Gain control magic.
