A rocky rarity in Minecraft and in Modern Magic.
This is a deck that I have been working on for quite some time now. Heck, at one point it was even Standard for a while (Obviously some of the older cards were not in it at that time).
The main premise of the deck is to have survivablity. Their is a lot of hexproof, and all the creatrues without hexproof have enter/leave the battlefield effects, creating pure value out of every creature I cast, even if it gets killed. Batterskull also fits this theme, giving me a creature when it comes in, being reequipable when that creature dies, and also surviving removal if I have the mana to bounce it.
The ramp in the deck has the capabilities of providing 4 mana on turn 2 and 6 to 15 mana on turn 3. But that is on a really good day, when the opponent decides to let my Arbor Elf live. But the rest of the ramp in the deck is safe to most removal. Utopia Sprawl hardly ever sees removal and is like a mana dork with haste.
To finish up the deck, I added in a decent amount of draw power, considering that my deck is mono-green, one of the worst colors for card draw. Harmonize, Garruk, Summoner's Pact and the Lonely Robot provide enough draw that I am never needing for anything.
On one last note, the sideboard is what it is because of my meta. I have quite a few decks with rather large flyers and one really nasty Affinity deck (That I haven't seen in quite a while actually). I would not expect to see this kind of sideboard in any other meta, seeing as how you will probably never see a G/W Angel deck or a R/G Dragon deck in your typical tournament setting.
Thank you for checking out my deck. If you like it then +1! (If you want) And if you have any suggestions, then please do not hesitate to comment on the deck.
