5-Color Zombie Tribal? It’s a ridiculous concept, but with this kind of deck, we get access to the only the best zombies possible. Pulling from red allows us to deal high amounts of damage with cards like Dreadhorde Butcher and Lightning Reaver, pulling from green gives us some incredible cards that dredge deep into our library, such as Underrealm Lich and Life from the Loam, and pulling from white affords us a small amount of life gain, which is important considering the shock lands we need to run in the deck to consistently be able to cast our creatures. Where the deck really shines, though, is in the multicolor zombies; with our Commander out, creatures like Thraximundar and Varina end up costing us only generic mana to cast, while cards like Dreadhorde Butcher and Wayward Servant becomes completely free to cast. Of course, we aren’t just running zombies; zombies are best when utilizing the graveyard to its fullest, so cards like Perpetual Timepiece and Tamiyo, Collector Of Tales are good utility pieces to mill ourselves, while cards like Gisa and Geralf and Liliana, Untouched by Death let us cast our zombies that we have milled. It’s a little janky, and it hasn’t been playtested yet, but I think it has some potential to be a decently fun tribal deck based around just graveyard goodstuff with powerful beaters and a ton of value.
