Monsters of the Great Hunt

Standard Midrange Ramp RUG (Temur)

Maybeboard

The goal of this deck is to ramp into big creatures quickly, countering or burning any threats your opponent lays down, then smashing face.

Ramp:

Sylvan Caryatid: Ideally played after a turn-one tap land. More resiliant than Rattleclaw Mystic , and blocks aggro and tokens.

Courser of Kruphix: Thins lands, blocks little dudes.

Xenagos, the Reveler: His primary use here is for mana-pumping, but pumping out hasty satyrs can help keep the pressure on your opponent.

Beaters:

Savage Knuckleblade: The primary early-game beater. Possible to get him with haste on T3 with Elvish/Rattleclaw out.

Polukranos, World Eater: 5/5 for 4, possible T3 play, and can act as spot removal while getting bigger. Whats not to like?

Stormbreath Dragon: Flying, haste, protection from white, all things we need. Goes over most creatures, and his monstrous can do a number in control matchups.

Whisperwood Elemental: A 4/4 for five that makes a 2/2, and a new one each end step? Pretty cool on its own rights. But hes got some added protection against boardwipes too, and theres always the possibility of manifesting something big, too.

Support:

Keranos, God of Storms: Card advantage and burn all rolled into a neat package.

Shaman of the Great Hunt : Respectable if a bit fragile as a 4/2 for 4, but his two abilities are where he really shines. Giving counters pairs well with Yasova Dragonclaw , and late-game card advantage can help with a stalled board state.

Sarkhan, the Dragonspeaker: This guys versatile. He works as a beater AND spot removal.

Crater's Claws: Cheap removal or direct burn. Its almost always gonna have ferocious turned on.

Lightning Strike: Early game removal.

Stubborn Denial: Early game paying that one mana is gonna hurt, but very quickly this becomes a hard counter for one.

Temur Charm : You can counter, make your creatures fight for spot removal, or plow through little dudes.

Sideboard:

Anger of the Gods: Takes out aggro or tokens without hitting too many of our creatures.

Bow of Nylea: Versatile, but really we want this for deathtouch. Makes them think twice about blocking in mirror.

Destructive Revelry: Pretty standard enchantment hate.

Disdainful Stroke: Counters against matchups where Stubborn Denial isnt relevant, namely other big creatures.

Heir of the Wilds : Stalls their attackers, or swings with impunity. Mostly against other big creature decks.

Stubborn Denial: When two mainboard aren't enough to deal with control.

Temur Charm : For mirror or aggro.

Always looking for suggestions, and plus one if you like it!

Updates Add

After some helpful suggestions from user:TalladegaMagicMan, I've done some cleaning up. This is now less aggro and more a solid midrange. This is more or less the build I'll hopefully be taking to game day next weekend.
