OK so this is the final list of changes for this week, and I think its looking a lot more focused than it was last week.

Changes:

Removed:

Champion of Lambholt (Side-boarded): I found that, while effective, this guy was ultimately slowing the deck down, and that 9 times out of 10 I would prefer to cast Wild Beastmaster or the new addition, Predator Ooze. It is in the sideboard now to allow me to get unblockable creatures if I need them in a specific match-up, instead of one of my 3-drops.

Avacyn's Pilgrim: Unessential mana-producer who is too easy to kill. One play-set of mana-producers is enough and Arbor Elf is the obvious choice.

Giant Growth: Although I love this little retro common, I found that I would need more survivability and utility than this provides. I also had too many one-drops, which was ruining my curve a bit.

Elvish Visionary: Unimpressive and often unneeded, with a draw ability that Garruk pisses all over. Chose some more immediately effective cards to replace her.

Added:

Deadbridge Goliath: This guy in many ways spiritually replaces the giant growth, allowing my stuff to grow nice and big. Of course, as well as the best scavenge available to Green, he is also a 5/5 for only 4 mana. Crazy bargain, in my book.

Mask of Avacyn: A great long-term protection spell for my more precious creatures. I have found it more reliable than a similarly tested Ranger's Guile, or Sheltering Word.

Predator Ooze: This guy is another attempt to make this deck more resilient against removal-heavy decks. He is a little slow to start bringing the hurt, but can be the difference between winning and losing, especially vs a board-wipe.

Young Wolf: My favourite common returns! He is just a resilient, reliable creature that I find is always a thorn in my opponent's side, especially early game. He also of course has the resilience to make it to late game, where my Wild Beastmaster is likely to be leading his signature charge.

Revenge of the Hunted: Also known as "Everyone block the young wolf!". This, drawn at the right time, is a win-con. It is also a great game-ender for a more drawn-out game.

OK so thats it. Now I realise that this deck no longer has the original combo of Wild Beastmaster and Champion of Lambholt that I wanted, but I found that the said combo was seriously fragile, and that if my opponent killed my key cards, I effectively lost the game. Now there are more valid threats and more undying, as well as some hex-proof, to help me against my worst match-ups.

Maybe I should change the name from "Synergy", as this deck only has a bit of that now xD.
