Mono-White Emeria Blink Control

Modern

KonnectivitY

Sideboard

Mono-White Emeria blink-control deck.

The wincons are both Sun Titan and the Emeria, The Sky Ruin with the 7 plains. Use Wall of Omens to find your win-cons, Pilgrim's Eye to build Emeria, The Sky Ruin, Blade Splicer to create some tokens and Flickerwisp and Restoration Angel to blink or flicker the previous creatures. We have some Panharmonicons that has synergy with almost every card in the deck. There is an infinite fog combo with Kami of the False Hope and Sun Titan or Emeria, The Sky Ruin in which you revive Kami in your turn sac in opponents turn once and again while you attack with your flying creatures Flickerwisp, Pilgrim's Eye and Restoration Angel.

The sideboard has some counters for some popular decks in modern: Blessed Alliance to counter some tribal decks and Death's Shadow. Brave the Elements to protect your creatures from removals like Supreme Verdict or Path to Exile. Celestial Purge is a better Path to Exile for decks that use red or black, remember that it exiles permanents, for example Liliana of the Veil. Ethersworn Canonist counters many different decks like Burn, Storm or even Elves, it doesn't affect you very much as you won't play a lot of spells per turn, and you can always Flickerwisp her to avoid the effects till the end of the turn, kepping in mind this includes that your opponent can cast more than one counter spell in his turn or storm you in your turn. Kor Firewalker simply stops anything that uses red: Burn, Storm, Goblins, Wildfire. Gut Shot to slow down aggro tribal decks like elves or humans, don't use it against goblins, it never ends well. Stony Silence stops affinity decks, Aether Vial decks like merfolks, humans, eldrazi and taxes, some Tron decks, Wildfire decks, Restore Balance decks or any kind of BorderPost deck. Tormod's Crypt can be used against decks like Delve, another Emeria, Dredge, Snapcaster Mage...

Modern Tournament 26th November 2017

  • 1st matchup, against Affinity (1-2) (Lose-Win-Lose)
  • 2nd matchup, against Taxes (1-1) (Win-Lose)
  • 3rd matchup, against GB Tron (2-0) (Win-Win)
  • 4th matchup, against Grixis Delver (0-2) (Lose-Lose)

Modern Tournament 29th December 2017

  • 1st matchup, against 5C Slivers (2-1) (Lose-Win-Win)
  • 2nd matchup, against Naya Burn (1-2) (Lose-Win-Lose)
  • 3rd matchup, against Izzet Storm (0-2) (Lose-Lose)
  • 4th matchup, against Naya Burn (0-2) (Lose-Lose)

The deck struggles against very fast matches, even if it can slow them down with Kor Firewalker to Brun and Ethersworn Canonist to Storm, the deck needs to be faster, so I I'm removing 2 Panharmonicon and 2 Felidar Guardian to add again 2 Lone Missionary and 2 Mortarpod
