A classic control deck, derived from Death and Taxes, but a bit more controlling, the decks is an engine, usually you just need to get a few creatures on the board to beat even the most meta aggro decks, works all right against control, but is awfull against well designed midrange decks. It's strategy is waiting for engame to start atacking, win conditions are some angels and Gideon, Ally of Zendikar. You can swap out Gideon for either Avacyn, Guardian Angel or Baneslayer Angel if you think that he gets destroyed too soon. Also I found out that Serra's Guardian is amazing against control and midrange, if you have Giver of Runes on board as well, because you can then swing in for a huge amount of damage, sometimes even lethal and you have vigilance so there's no punishement, you can of course swap it for some other card, if you feel that there's a better fit for the deck.

In the sideboard and maybeboard there are some variants to change the deck depending on how you/the opononent plays.
