I opened Unesh in my prerelease and wanted to make a deck with it. This is it.

The idea of the deck is simple: play a bunch of discouned sphinxes, try to gain maximum value from the ETB granted by Unesh and try to do some control magic to stay alive.

Well, you have a wonderful start for it, all the good sphinx's are there. You might like more graveyard interactions to get the most out of uneshs ability. With cards like Mnemonic Wall and,Jace, Vryn's Prodigy  Flip, and Snapcaster Mage you can dig up whatever spells you might like, making picking piles for his ability a lose-lose situation for your opponents. Also cards with delve like Dig Through Time, which you do have, and Temporal Trespass for extra cheap value. Possibly dredge as well. I don't know much about dredge in blue though.

Qolorful Those are some nifty suggestions, but seeing as I'm not a legacy player/made of money I can't really afford to buy a Snapcaster or an Actual Literally Baby-Jace, but I will definately consider Mnemonic Wall. Temporal Trespass is a bit bad IMO, as I'm not a huge fan of timewalk-effects. And after a quick check I came to the conclusion that blue has zero dredging. Thanks for the input though!

Time walks can be very strong, especially when running tribal with big fat sphinxes, it can be huge, but I understand if you don't like it. I use trespass in my edh deck and it took a while for me to get used to it, but I love it now. If you decide you do like mnemonic wall I can try and do some research on other affordable cards that do similar things. I just think it is important to have smaller creatures that provide value as well, considering it can potentially take a while to get out your sphinx cost reduction, it helps the early game play out smoother in my experience. Over all, I love your deck though. I am going to build a sphinx tribal with this as a template most likely. I like a lot of your choices

Ghostly flicker, it's a nice one to run.

Thanks for the suggestion raphapp, but flickering two creatures once for 4 mana is a bit too weak.

Kindred Discovery really keeps the card advantage coming in. Really should be played in just about every tribal deck with access to blue.

Sphinx of Jwar Isle is an interesting card that lets you know whatever's on top of your deck at all times. Useful with all the Unesh triggers. Shroud is also nice protection on an evasive beater.

Conundrum Sphinx is one of the lowest-costing sphinxes you have access to, and choosing how to stack enters-the-battlefield abilities is really useful if you know what card is on top.

Alhammarret, High Arbiter is a nice card that's kind of like a Nevermore attached to a Peek on a 5/5 flier.

Horizon Scholar has a nice enters-the-battlefield ability that lets you filter out dead stuff with Unesh's trigger.

It's pretty expensive now, but Urza's Incubator is still a terrific card for tribal that frequently uses expensive creatures.

I already have Kindred Discovery in my maybeboard, I just don't know what it should replace. Sphinx of Jwar Isle ios a bit lackluster, since I can only look at the card and not cast it, like with Future Sight.

Conundrum Sphinx is also a bit weak IMO, since I don't have that many ways of knowing what's on top of my library and the low cost is insignificant when Unesh lowers the mana cost of all my sphinxes by 2.

As for Alhammarret, High Arbiter, I don't really like the idea of playing a Reflector Mage in my deck, since I can only name the cards it revealed, whereas Nevermore allows you to name any card.

Horizon Scholar is also a bit meh, since I'll be getting so many cards anyway.

And finally, Urza's Incubator is actually almost useless in this deck since I have Unesh to lower the cost of my cards by 2, Herald’s Horn to lower by 1, and Sapphire Medallion to lower them by another 1 giving me all the cost reduction I'll ever need.

I kind of went full on flavor for mine if you want to take a look Riddles in the dark .

I did a decent amount of testing with some of the lesser sphinx cards out there. I cut most that I could. There are a few upgrades I am going to work on, but the deck does get really nutty very quick. The instant/sorcery choices are mostly about making your opponent choose.
