Welcome, and thank you for checking out the deck!

First, I would like to state that this is a budget deck first and foremost. Secondly, I would like to say it is really fun to play. I am trying to keep an up to date version of the deck so anyone can come in and start playing EDH for as little as $50-70. Depending on how cards are at any given time this deck will fluctuate between those numbers. But, if at any time it goes over $70 it is time to rebuild.

The main purpose of the deck is to cast Gary Gray Merchant of Asphodel as much as possible. Usually 4-7 times is enough to get the table.

The name "Hilariously Hate Killed" comes from my beloved playgroup. I have been playing this deck since 2016 when I saw the Commander’s Brew episode with the same idea Their Deck. I love playing old wacky cards and having weird interaction in my deck so this seemed like a great place to start and see where it could go. After a few games it proved to be quite a contender. And the more people that joined the game the better! The win percentage of this deck raises for each person that is added to the game. Right now I am 100% on 6 player games. So after about 2 months of me playing this deck my friends decided that I needed to be delt with quicker and would hate kill the deck off the table lol. At this time the deck was around $65 and I was playing against $200-400 decks. So I feel like this was a compliment and a sign that it could play with the big boys.

Pros:

• Great against slow aggro decks
• Works the table down, not just one opponent.
• Really fun in a clunky combo kind of way.

Cons:

• Kind of slow
• Doesn’t have much play against spell-based combo decks
• Does rely on the graveyard and Gary
