The purpose of this deck is simple: to keep opponents from casting anything but creatures, then out-creature them. A few Vryn Wingmares on the field combined with Thalia, Guardian of Thraben should discourage non-creature spells nicely, and Aegis of the Gods helps further to protect against things like mill, discard, or burn. This deck mainly features two creature types: Knights and Soldiers. The Soldiers, ideally buffed by Crovax, Ascendant Hero, Captain of the Watch, or Field Marshal, will be your attackers, while Knights, hopefully made indestructible by Knight Exemplar, serve to fend off incoming attacks. A very useful combo is Gideon's Avenger + Court Street Denizen + Ballynock Trapper, which can buff insanely fast and keep your opponents nice and defenseless against your onslaught of creatures, which is fueled by God-Favored General. Late game, Nykthos, Shrine of Nyx can potentially cast two or three spells on its own, and Windbrisk Heights can help get higher drops like Crovax, Ascendant Hero or Captain of the Watch out early. The biggest weakness this deck has is fliers, and I've done all I can to rectify that with some flying Knights and Soldiers.
