You are playing a weird mono blue devotion with black spells deck, your opponent thinks. After game 1, they sideboard out for anti mono blue cards- some of dem Gainsay, Illness in the Ranks, whatever people side in vs mono blue. You take out all your mono blue and put in mono black. Your opponent enters the next game confident, until they figure out you are playing out mono black control now. They look at the Gainsay in their hand, look at the Desecration Demon you are playing, look at the Izzet Staticaster in their hand, and maybe cry.

Anyways, the goal is for your opponent to flip out as you basically change decks on them.

I know a lot of MBD decks are a lot of smaller creatures rather than bigger ones like I've included, but I want the decks to be very different so that my opponent can't counter both of them with a single switch of the sideboard. The goal is to catch my opponent unprepared, so the switch from tempo to midrangy control should come as a shock.
