Mono-Black modern deck built with cheap resilient aggro creatures, discard spells & removal.

Gravecrawler returns for B with another Zombie in play. Dread Wanderer is more expensive to return and comes in tapped, but it can block if needed. Cryptbreaker , Relentless Dead & Geralf's Messenger add more Zombie synergy.

Bloodghast is a wannabe Zombie but functions similarly by returning from the graveyard when a land is played.

Smuggler's Copter provides extra reach & dodges sorcery-speed sweepers.

Thoughtseize , Inquisition of Kozilek , Fatal Push & Collective Brutality round out the main with high efficiency interaction.
