This is a first-draft deck brewed live on our podcast, Mox Team Zirconia. We aim to inspire people to build their own decks for competitions.

**What's with that maybeboard? We talk about a ton of cards on the podcast, and I add those to the maybeboard so you can follow along.

This deck is untested. Give it a tune! What would you change or add? We want to hear your suggestions in the discussion below.

I really perfer 28 lands in control, that might only hold for blue control though

Collective Brutality is better than you give it credit for

a lot of the gods die to Grasp of Darkness or Harsh Scrutiny I really don't see the point of playing sorcery speed removal like Die Young in the main

I would personaly main a few more wraths but whatever.

I would almost suggest splashing blue for Glimmer of Genius to fill out you card draw suite

28 lands!? That's almost half your deck! Checking out goldfish, I'm seeing U/W and U control decks running 25-26, and they're still casting Cryptic Command, and various other double devotion cards like Elspeth, Sun's Champion and Supreme Verdict AND they're in two colors. Don't you flood in the late game with that many lands? Please send us a list so we can try it out! We are very upfront about our inexperience with control decks.

You are probably right about Collective Brutality. I'm 100% sure the numbers of cards in the 75 will change in testing.

Die Young is part of the "feed the tower" strategy, and since we're unsure how much energy creation is needed, the extra 2E is worth the sorcery speed. We think! For now. Out of the Amonkhet gods, only Hazoret the Fervent dies to Grasp of Darkness unless you hit the other gods with something first, and we...don't really have much to hit him with.

For wraths, we're hoping we can get some cards and energy off the Glint-Sleeve Siphoner before we have to go for broke and try to kill the board. This may prove to be pure folly.

Glimmer of Genius is the first thing we'll add if we can't consistently get cards. Will shift the manabase a bit, but we can add in Fetid Pools at that point if we have to.

Graham tested this deck initially on Tuesday and said it was "working" but I didn't get any more detail than that. More to come. Thanks for being here as always!!

here is the list I am kicking around for standard right now, still pretty rough tuning wise and I don't have a sideboard together yet, this is just the basic shell for now should evolve with the meta
