Undercity Informer , and Midnight Recovery are essential.

1. get enough mana to play Balustrade Spy and/or Returned Centaur . as they come into play, they mill cards.
2. put Midnight Recovery + Deathcult Rogue for the best possibility that the damage will go through, and you can get your creature back. (or Balustrade Spy if they have no flyers or reach)
3. use Undercity Informer 's ability to sacrifice a creature to make them mill. sacrifice Returned Centaur , or Balustrade Spy .
4. attack with a creature that has Midnight Recovery . once the damage goes to the player, the cipher effect happens and you get to return your Balustrade Spy or Returned Centaur .
5. repeat and spam this as much as possible.

What I like about this Deck is that it is unique. Not very many mono black mill decks out there. Modern or standard. Also it works and uses legitamite black cards and not half the deck in artifacts or something silly.

What I don't like about it is how I need a lot of mana to start doing that combo. The side deck is there for more control and survivability but less mill.
