A mid-range deck that seeks to combine black's great low-cost removal suite with strong planeswalkers and Eldrazi value.

Yahenni's Expertise misses every creature in the deck outside of Gonti, Lord of Luxury and Scrapheap Scrounger, which is fine because one provides value regardless and the other recurs (making it the primary target for Plague Belcher).

Thought-Knot Seer is supplemented by more hand disruption in the sideboard, which can be brought in against low-threat decks.
