I really love the monarch mechanic, even though it's mostly me who benefits from it with this deck ;)

Pet cards include:
Crown of Doom 1)it's flavorful. 2) it functions as an extra 2 mana tax on each player's turn. Protip: give it to player who follows you.
Debtors' Knell is expensive and frequently gets blown up before you get any value off of it, but when it sticks until your upkeep it is so much fun.
