Sideboard

I can't claim that I discovered the combo. I saw it floating around here somewhere a while ago. I doubt that was an original either. It doesn't take a genius to see how abusable Blighted Agent is with pump spells. Anyway, not mine.

This is just a deck I want to carry around that could be whipped out on "that player", or if I run into a crazy competitive environment. A cheap little agro infectious pocket nuke. Play testing shows that I can pull off a win via poison counters most of the time by turns 5-8. If the deck stutters for sure by turn 10-15.

Anyway the combo should be pretty evident pump up Blighted Agent with Groundswell, Giant Growth & Vines of Vastwood then swing to win. Pretty much everything else simply serves to run through the deck to deploy the combo with a couple exceptions.

Coiling Oracle puts a body on the field in addition to pulling a card.

In addition to pumping up Blighted Agents Vines of Vastwood can provide an instance speed turn of protection from removal.

Fuel for the Cause is more for the proliferate than the counterspell, but if I can only put down two pump spells it can mean the win if my opponent plays something on their turn. Steady Progress too, but that's card draw.

Glistener Elf & Thrummingbird are in to help the infection along or to provide chump blockers.

The sideboard is just more counter spells and some removal from Snap. It's there in case I run into a deck that's super concentrated burn or that can outrace me.
