This take on a Modern Gruul werewolf deck combines some of the Agro from SOI and adds in the more powerful midrange werewolves from the original INS block.

Since this is in fact a werewolf deck I am not looking to cast multiple cards per turn so rather than using staple modern burn like Lightning Bolt or Searing Blaze I opted to use more powerful spells that would take the disadvantage of one spell per turn and make the best of it. Bonfire of the Damned and Clan Defiance both have steady removal while having the ability to deal a ton of damage to the enemy player.

Aether Vial Also allows me to lay my werewolves while still allowing them to flip at the end of my turn or if I have something like Geier Reach Bandit   lets me lay multiple creatures without having them flip back into their human form.
